STEP 1)
THE ENVELOPE


How much promotional direct mail gets tossed in the trash without even being opened? Most of it! That is unless you get their attention and create interest and curiosity.

In this example, you would print, stamp or even paste a label on the envelope that there's something inside they want. If you like simplicity, it could just be the phrase: "I've enclosed a little money for you!" How many can throw away mail with that statement?-- hardly any.

This means, we're almost certain to at least get them to open the mail.
